... Of the week.

Hey Guys,
How's it going? It's going pretty well here.
Here is the ...Of the week for this week.
Book of the Week- A Horse to Remember-Juliana Hutchings- Wow! I cannot believe how great that book was. Juliana Hutchings published it when she was just 14 years of age. It truly does show what bonds man and their horses can form, and the love that man can develop for that horse. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- I Belong To You (New Moon Remix)- Muse- I love this song!! I recently watched *The Twilight Saga; New Moon again, and when I heard this song... I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week-My Sister's Keeper- Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin-Whoa! What an emotional movie! It didn't end like the book, but it was equally emotional. Although it felt at times, like it was so sad, that we wouldn't be able to finish it... we did. An amazing movie! I totally recommend seeing it. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Prayers...

Hey Guys,
How are you? I am okay.
Today, unfortunately, I am asking for prayers. My cousin passed away, a couple of nights ago (on Father's Day). He was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident, that caused him to lose his life. Although I didn't really know my cousin, I am praying for his family in this difficult time. My mom had told me, that a mother's worst nightmare is to lose her own child. I pray for her, I pray for his wife. My cousin and his wife were just a few weeks off of their 4th anniversary (I think, though it may have been their 5th). Their little boy is currently battling cancer, and he is younger than my youngest sister (who will be 3 in a few weeks).
As you can tell, I know little details. It does make you think, though, how lucky you are not to have been in or had to be one of those that had to take a blow as hard as to lose a loved one that way. I pray that my cousin didn't feel any pain in his last few moments of life, and that he is in a better place.

Driver's Ed Is Over!!

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been? Mine has been pretty good.
Guess what I passed? Driver's Ed!! I scored 20 out of 20 on the last test they gave me.
All I have to do now to get my driver's license now is just complete my driving hours. Twenty more hours, with eight of them being during night hours. Sound exciting? Well, I am willing do anything at this point to get my license. : )

Yesterday...

Hey Guys,
How are you? I am doing pretty good. Yesterday, I posted to my Facebook wall that I was having a bad day. I immediately got a lot of supportive responses (thank you guys!!). I feel like I should explain a little bit more about why it was so bad...

Yesterday, I awoke pretty early. I had the intentions of having a really good day. Especially, in my Driver's Ed class. I wrote a blog post, got around for the day, ate my breakfast, and prepared to walk down for Driver's Ed. I was suppose to go down early, and meet my sister to grab the shared 'children's phone'. We never did meet up, even though I spent a lot of time (prior to class) looking for her. Then, I remembered that my mom wanted me to go and apologize to a girl. See, I was suppose to go and 'talk to her for a sec, (after class) because she had something really important to tell me'. I walked to the front door, and found her outside alone. I was getting really bad vibes about going out there. So, I turned around and went out the back door. When I got to class yesterday, I went over and apologized for not meeting her. She immediately proceeded to say "F*** You" to me. After she finished the first word, and had started the second, I turned abruptly on my heel and walked away. People continue to ask me if I think I made the right move. Personally, I would not have done anything different. If she said that to me for apologizing, then, what would she have said to me if I had met her? I would have to think it wouldn't have been any better. On my way home, I was furious. Nobody had ever said anything like that to me before. I managed to hit my head hard enough against a door, that it is all swollen up today. I accidentally rammed my foot into a rock of about the same size. Both injuries hurt today, and both were inflicted out of my anger. I am disappointed in myself for letting my anger do that to me. More than disappointed in that, I am disappointed that someone at that girl's level caused me to get all riled up. I learned the value of the lesson 'treat people the way you want to be treated'. I would not want to cause another girl to get as mad and upset as I was, because I said something like that to her.
Yesterday, was full of other little things, that eventually made it a really bad day. My hope is, is since I don't have Driver's Ed today, today will be a good day just to sit back and try to have a good day. My next and final Driver's Ed class is tomorrow. I plan to go in, and show no mercy as far as how pleasant I intend to be.
Thank you to all who said supportive things on my Facebook wall. To get up this morning, and read them was very uplifting to my degraded spirit from yesterday.
Thank you!!

... Of the week.

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well.
How has your week been? Mine has been okay.
Guess what time it is? Another ... Of the week. Excited? I am!!

Book of the Week- Someone Like You- Sarah Dessen- Haley and her friend (Scarlett) have been friends for years. Scarlett was the popular, flamboyant one. Haley pretty much hid in Scarlett's shadow. We learn Scarlett's boyfriend has been killed in an accident. Soon Scarlett finds out something that could ruin her youth. Their friendship is tested. Can Haley help Scarlett? I would rate this book 3 out of 5.
Song of the Week- Black and Gold- Sam Sparro- I love this song so much!! To know that someone would want to remain at your side, forever, is the best part of this song. It's hard to find someone like that. I would rate this song 4.5 stars out of 5.
Movie of the Week- The King's Speech-Colin Firth- Whoa! Amazing movie! Really!! I totally agree with the awards they got at the Oscar's. This movie was inspiring, heartfelt, and hilarious. I totally recommend watching it! I would rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

Changes.

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been? Mine went pretty good.
One thing I wanted to post was some of the things that have change with me lately. Don't worry! It's nothing too drastic.

I notice that I have been getting up really early lately. At one point, I was one of those people who had to be dragged down from my bed to start school. Most of the time I ended up being late. Recently, though, I have been up at 6am. Even in a slightly decent mood!! My mom is quite happy with the results she has been seeing.

I find that I am starting to like spending time by myself. In a house full of people, I have discovered how nice 'peace and quiet' really is. Now I get why Mom likes it so much. Alone, I have time to think previous decisions out better, and have time to fix them if they were bad (before they get worse). If they were good, then being alone gives me time to figure out how to keep up the good decisions.

I have also discovered that if I watch a sad movie, read a sad book, or listen to a sad song, that I will cry through the sad parts. Now I try to make sure not to do any of those things out in public, as I recently found it doesn't matter where I am when I do them. I always found it embarrassing when my mom and I would sit and something... like Steel Magnolias! I would be sitting there and look over to see my mom crying. Crying!! Couldn't believe it, until we recently watched it and I cried. Now it is no longer embarrassing, as we all sit there and cry through the ending. : )

Movies I Have Recently Seen.

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been? Mine has been okay.
Here are some movies I have seen recently.

Last Airbender-2010- Jackson Rathborne, Noah Ringer- Wow, how much did they put into that movie? Apparently not a whole lot.... The acting was horrendous, and the special effects were really bad. They didn't even pronounce the character's names right!!  I would rate the move 1 out of 5 stars.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail-1975- Graham Chapman, John Cleese- I don't think I completely get British comedy, but that was pretty funny!! I would rate that movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I'll try and include more later!

Bleach: Episodes 1-25

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been? Mine has gone pretty good, so far.
Today, I would like to give a review of a series that I have been watching lately. It is a manga series, called Bleach. The series is based a young beginner soul-reaper (Gigai) called Ichigo Kurosaki. For many years, Ichigo has been able to see spiritual beings. It wasn't until he met Rukia Kuchiki, and took over her Shinigami capabilities, that he could fight off the evil spirits called Hollows. Though, when Ichigo took Rukia's abilities to fight Hollows, she became as helpless as a human. Whereas, Ichigo became strong.  Rukia finds she must fit in with the human world until she regains her powers. She starts to attend Ichigo's school, and hanging out with his friends. Yet, events start to occur (thanks to the Soul Society).
They find out that there was a transfer of her Shinigami to a human, which is a felony in the Soul Society. Two soul-reapers are sent to arrest her. Her adopted brother (Byakuya Kuchiki), and her childhood friend (Renji Abarai)  are the two. They attempt to kill her on the spot, but Ichigo interferes. Ichigo and Renji fight, and to the surprise of the soul-reapers, Ichigo begins to show the capability to win the fight. Then Byakuya steps in, sending a deathly blow to Ichigo. Rukia begs that his life be spared, as he would not live beyond this. She agrees to go back to the Soul Society, to be executed. They take her back. As Ichigo lay dying, he was shocked by Rukia's decision. He swears that he will save Rukia. Ichigo, himself, is saved by a acquaintance (Kisuke Urahara) of Rukia's. He is one that lives among the humans. Ichigo also finds that his friends Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryu Ishida have special capabilities. Together they venture to the Soul Society. They undertake a giant, soul-reaper captains, and very annoying souls. Time presses and Rukia has only 14 days left till her execution. Can Ichigo save her?
I will continue to watch the series and let you all know. : )
I would rate this series 5 out of 5 stars. Very, very entertaining!!
Thanks for reading!

... Of the week.

Hi Guys,
How are you? I am well. How's your week? Mine is going pretty okay.
Here are this week's picks-
Book of the Week- Fallen- Lauren Kate- Luce is forced to go to a reform school. There she meets an odd crowd, many who (like herself) didn't need reforming. Then Luce meets someone, someone who takes her breath away every time she sees him. Yet, he won't stop running away from her. When he's not running, he seems like a long-lost friend to her. Luce can't seem to figure out why he acts like this towards her. On the other hand, other guys are being very friendly towards her. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- The Man Who Can't Be Moved- The Script- I love this song so much! It makes me wish, at times, that there were a man who couldn't be moved out there for me. : )      I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week- 3:10 to Yuma- Russel Crowe- I saw this movie on one of my trips downstate, and have loved it ever since. Though, I think I have adored Russel Crowe in pretty much everything I have seen him in so far... : D                I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.

In Twenty Years.

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am pretty good. How has your week been? Mine has been okay.
Today, I would like to talk about the future. My future. My mother has been asking me lately, what do I see myself doing in twenty years? And I have been putting some thought into it.
What do I see myself doing in twenty years? Well, by then, I will be thirty-six. So I plan on graduating college in eight years, and begin to develop my career in English (I think). If I do decide to go with an English career, I would like to either be a journalist, or a novelist. As for the unpredictable, there is that hope that in twenty years I will have found my 'other half' and settled down. Kids? Maybe later. I do no know that I would like to adopt from overseas, though. As for where I will live, I will either go south or a little farther north. I have yet to decide. Although, I know that I intend on having a huge house. I want lots of room for guests, plus I have a slight idea with what I want done with the other rooms. I would like an indoor pool, an entertainment room (with game systems, flat-screen TV's, and a ton of old arcade games), a huge kitchen, and a studio for personal enjoyment.  With lots of property, and horses on that property. I want to have large, beautiful gardens. I want own lots of vehicles, things between the Bugatti Veyron (due to the fact, it's the fastest car in the world-currently), The H3X Hummer (best version of the Hummer- besides the H2), and the Suzuki SV650S (a really nice motorcycle). Besides the pricey lifestyle I have mentioned, did I say anything about retirement? I plan on leading a very happy retirement life by forty. I know, people keep telling me to dream on. Though, that is what I see for myself in twenty years.
Thanks so much for reading!

Thing That Make Me Mad...

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been so far? Mine has been pretty good. Last week, I discussed things that make me sad, and a couple weeks before, what makes me happy. Now I would like to post what makes me mad. There aren't very many things, really.

  1. People who act fake.
  2. People who aren't willing to go out of their way to help a friend in need.
  3. Road rage.
  4. Boys who wear pants 2 to 3 times bigger than needed. (Really!?! I don't need to see that when I go out!)
  5. When people lie to get farther ahead, and those that are honest don't.
