A Day Well Spent

Hi Guys!
Today I had a great day out with my grandfather. We enjoyed a delightful 'Concert in the Park', where we supported a couple of members from the orchestra that we (my sister and I) knew. Then we had to drop my sister off at her friends birthday party, where my sister will be spending the night (yay!). My grandfather and I, then, after grabbing a bite to eat at a pie shop, did a little bit of shopping. When we finally came back to the house, everybody else was getting ready to leave. So we ordered two medium pizzas (ate them both), and headed out to the nearby campground to do some walking around. The campground was full of RV's, campers, and tons of tents. It was interesting to talk to some people, figuring out how far they actually traveled to camp there. We found people had come from as far away as North Carolina!
Eventually, we had walked the entire campground and went home for the night. Overall, I had a fantastic day!

Happy Birthday Izzy!

Yesterday was the 2nd birthday of my youngest sister, Isabelle. We spent the morning playing tennis, where we attempted both singles and doubles. Singles went well, we had Matthew and Rose on one court and Elise and I played on another. Matthew and Elise won as far as singles went, but Rose and I made our comeback in the doubles. After we left the tennis courts, we stopped by the library for a few moments to get some reading material. We always go into the library with the attempt of only getting one or two books, but somehow manage to come out with a dozen or so. Once we got home, we did a little bit of school and then began preparation for Izzy's party. We had confetti cupcakes with a strawberry icing, and two different flavors of ice cream. Although, I think she enjoyed all of the presents she got that were 'Toy Story' toys, or the beautiful dresses she got from our grandparents. Over all, it was a day very well spent.

Welcome!!

Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Morgan, and I am a young adult in Northern Michigan. I am the eldest of six children, the youngest whom is not yet a year old. We are all home-schooled, with our mother being the principal/teacher. My personal favorite study is literature, though I do not dislike any (of my studies) either. My hobbies include sketching, gardening, photography, some birdwatching, and playing my cello. I do play some sports, but I do not play with a team (if that makes any sense at all). My favorite sports to play include soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. I love living up north, with both my natural surroundings and the wonderful people who live here.
