A Look Back on Easter...

Hi Guys!
How was your Easter? Mine was amazing. We went downstate to visit with my grandparents, my uncle, and their dogs. It was really great seeing everyone again.
We left early Saturday morning, and we eventually made it to my grandparent's house by about noon or so. We did make a few stops along the way. We all visited for a little while, then the parents headed out. Grandpa, Connor, and I all left a little later. We were on a mission. Then, that trip got sidetracked as Grandpa's truck pulled into McDonald's. We grabbed goodies for everyone, then headed back. (No that was not our original mission)
We then enjoyed watching some movies, playing with the dogs, colored some eggs, took some naps (the grandparents and I), and ate a really good dinner (tacos!). Mom and Dad got back later, only for us to find out we didn't have the right set of dominoes for our late night game (Chickenfoot). Grandpa and I ran into town, retrieved the right set, and hurried home. Unfortunately, neither of us could claim a win that night.
The next day, (Easter) everybody got up and ate breakfast. We had colored eggs, bagels, and juice. Yum!
Then we all got in line for a shower, and cleaned up the house. My uncle arrived about 9:30 or so, into a very 'colorful' political argument between Mom and Grandpa. Ah, the holidays....
We followed our uncle's suit of being 'Switzerland'. We, then, helped set the table for Easter dinner. The smell of the ham baking slowly came around the house, giving a wonderful aroma. Soon, all sorts of delicious dishes made their way out onto the counter top. We all said a prayer then, in an orderly fashion, moved to fix our plates. By the end of the meal, our stomachs were full and we were all happily involved in conversation. We later  played a game a catch, Chickenfoot, and then basketball. As we approached evening ,though, my family had to say our good-byes. We had a long trip back up north.
In all, this Easter has made my favorites. We had so much fun!
Love you Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle D.j., Buddy, and Rocco!!
See you all soon!
