Hey Guys!
How are you? I am doing quite well.
How was your summer? Mine went pretty well.
I located a job this summer. At a hardware store. I know, I know, it doesn't seem like the first place a girl would go looking for a job. I have really enjoyed my time there, though. I have learned a LOT about hardware. Though, I'll be the first to admit, I am far from knowing an efficient amount about any of it. I did get to mix ten gallons of paint yesterday! And load 15 bales of straw! And carry four 40 pound bags of water softener salt! So, everything is going seemingly well. I've come to meet quite a few interesting people while I have been working at the store. Though, being one of the only girls working at the store, I have become butt of many jokes. Self-control is something that works quite nicely in a job like this. Haha! If I didn't have it, I probably wouldn't still have this job. It has it's good points, and it's bad points, I guess. In the end, though, doesn't everything?
Cold weather has finally come!! I don't know about you guys, but I missed it while it was away. It seems like it is never here long enough! I enjoy all that the winter brings with it. Christmas, skiing, and starting snowball fights. Curling up in fluffy blankets, with a cup of coffee, and a good book on cold nights. Mmm... so many good things come in the winter. ♥
Thanks for reading!!

... Of the week.
Hey Guys,
How's it going? It's going pretty well here.
Here is the ...Of the week for this week.
Book of the Week- A Horse to Remember-Juliana Hutchings- Wow! I cannot believe how great that book was. Juliana Hutchings published it when she was just 14 years of age. It truly does show what bonds man and their horses can form, and the love that man can develop for that horse. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- I Belong To You (New Moon Remix)- Muse- I love this song!! I recently watched *The Twilight Saga; New Moon again, and when I heard this song... I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week-My Sister's Keeper- Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin-Whoa! What an emotional movie! It didn't end like the book, but it was equally emotional. Although it felt at times, like it was so sad, that we wouldn't be able to finish it... we did. An amazing movie! I totally recommend seeing it. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for reading!

... Of the week.
Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well.
How has your week been? Mine has been okay.
Guess what time it is? Another ... Of the week. Excited? I am!!
Book of the Week- Someone Like You- Sarah Dessen- Haley and her friend (Scarlett) have been friends for years. Scarlett was the popular, flamboyant one. Haley pretty much hid in Scarlett's shadow. We learn Scarlett's boyfriend has been killed in an accident. Soon Scarlett finds out something that could ruin her youth. Their friendship is tested. Can Haley help Scarlett? I would rate this book 3 out of 5.
Song of the Week- Black and Gold- Sam Sparro- I love this song so much!! To know that someone would want to remain at your side, forever, is the best part of this song. It's hard to find someone like that. I would rate this song 4.5 stars out of 5.
Movie of the Week- The King's Speech-Colin Firth- Whoa! Amazing movie! Really!! I totally agree with the awards they got at the Oscar's. This movie was inspiring, heartfelt, and hilarious. I totally recommend watching it! I would rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

... Of the week.
Hi Guys,
How are you? I am well. How's your week? Mine is going pretty okay.
Here are this week's picks-
Book of the Week- Fallen- Lauren Kate- Luce is forced to go to a reform school. There she meets an odd crowd, many who (like herself) didn't need reforming. Then Luce meets someone, someone who takes her breath away every time she sees him. Yet, he won't stop running away from her. When he's not running, he seems like a long-lost friend to her. Luce can't seem to figure out why he acts like this towards her. On the other hand, other guys are being very friendly towards her. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- The Man Who Can't Be Moved- The Script- I love this song so much! It makes me wish, at times, that there were a man who couldn't be moved out there for me. : ) I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week- 3:10 to Yuma- Russel Crowe- I saw this movie on one of my trips downstate, and have loved it ever since. Though, I think I have adored Russel Crowe in pretty much everything I have seen him in so far... : D I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Library Fun
Hey Guys!
How are you? I am doing pretty good. How's your week been? Mine has been okay. I spent a couple hours at the library the other day. Somewhere between 2 1/2 and 3 hours. It was a nice break, from the usual chaos at my house. : )
Actually, I love books. So, it was very enjoyable. Also, a friend of mine showed up. We hung out till he had to go. It was nice, since I hadn't seen him in quite a while. About three weeks or so, if I had to guess. Friend reunions, even if the time not seen between each other is measured in weeks and not months, are great. I love getting back together with my friends.
I came home with two bags full of books. Probably twenty books or so. It's exciting having new books to read, each filled with an adventure just waiting to be read. The funny part about getting so many, is that I will be ready to return them all by the end of the week (yep, I know today is Thursday). I found that the average amount of pages on the books is 250 pages. All high school reading level books. I'm so excited!!

... Of the week.
Hey Guys,
To make my blog more interesting I will give more book, movie, and music reviews. There will be a song of the week, a book of the week, and a movie of the week. Hopefully, it will make things more interesting.
Book of the Week- City of Bones- Cassandra Clare-The first book of the Mortal Instruments series. Follow Clary as she discovers there is more to the world she lives in, than what meets the eye. Or, at least the eyes of a mortal. 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- (It) Feels So Good- Steven Tyler- Okay, I have never really been a Steven Tyler fan, but this song is pretty good. 3.5 out 5 stars.
Movie of the Week- Despicable Me- Steve Carell- Super funny movie!! Great for the whole family!
4.5 out of 5 stars.

Hunger Games; the movie
Hey Guys!
How have you all been? I am doing good.
I read a series of books a little while back, called The Hunger Games, I enjoyed them a lot. They were a wonderful balance of emotion, humor, romance, adventure, and violence. The story follows a girl, who instead of allowing her sister to participate, offers to be a tribute in the Hunger Games. She is taken from her home, and into the arena. The other tributes have trained and prepared for this all of their lives, whereas she has had a few weeks. Besides the uncomfortable situation of lack of blood thirst, she also is partnered with a boy that she'd already found a dislike for back at home. Her trainer is a former tribute, who knows what she and her partner will go through. Though due to how destructive the Hunger Games were on him, he will only train them when he hasn't passed out drunk. Overall, it was a really good series. I would rate them 4 out of 5 stars.
Here is the book order-
1. The Hunger Games
2. Catching Fire
3. Mockingjay
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did...
Have a good weekend!

Wicked Lovely; The Manga Series
Hey Guys!
How are you guys? I am doing well. I recently finished the Manga series, Wicked Lovely. The story revolves around a faerie, whose world seems to be caving in all the time. Yet, when she once more falls for someone, can she let the past go? I totally recommend this series to those who are interested in getting started in Manga.
I enjoyed it, because the faeries weren't as far-fetched as they have been viewed in other novels. In this series, they seem much more believable and (for me) likable. I would rate this series 4 out of 5 stars.
(Here is what the cover of the first book looks like)

Novels I Have Recently Read
The 'Blue Bloods' series (by Melissa De La Cruz)- Follow Schuyler Van Alen as she discovers not only that she is a vampire, but that she comes from a line of vampires. Her family had made enemies of other immortals in the past, can Schuyler find out who they are before they destroy her family? And how many of her human friends will suffer until then? I would rate this series 3 out of 5 stars.
The Crystal Shard (by R.A. Salvatore)- The amazing fourth book to the 'Legend of Drizzt' series. Drizzt is now in the company of the dwarves belonging to 'Ten-Towns'. He meets a halfling by the name of Regis, a barbarian named Wulfgar, a dwarf king named Bruenor, along with Bruenor's adopted daughter Cattie-Brie. Drizzt trains Wulfgar to be trained for combat. The story also follows an evil warlock (Akar Kessel) who gains the power a magical crystal shard, 'Crenshinibon'. The crystal allows it's wielder the power to create large sanctuary-like towers, and to enter the minds of those around him/her to get them under his/her control. Unfortunately, for Akar, it also controls it's wielder. Can Drizzt defeat Akar without the crystal entering his mind and disabling his ability to fight? Read the book and find out! I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
The Eagle of the Ninth (by Rosemary Sutcliff)- This story follows a young Roman (Marcus Flavius Aquila) centurion as he fights to recover the missing Eagle totem. It is a journey he must make to not only recover the totem, but the honor of his family and the the Ninth legion. I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5.
Hope you enjoy these books as I did!
