... Of the week.

Hey Guys,
How's it going? It's going pretty well here.
Here is the ...Of the week for this week.
Book of the Week- A Horse to Remember-Juliana Hutchings- Wow! I cannot believe how great that book was. Juliana Hutchings published it when she was just 14 years of age. It truly does show what bonds man and their horses can form, and the love that man can develop for that horse. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- I Belong To You (New Moon Remix)- Muse- I love this song!! I recently watched *The Twilight Saga; New Moon again, and when I heard this song... I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week-My Sister's Keeper- Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin-Whoa! What an emotional movie! It didn't end like the book, but it was equally emotional. Although it felt at times, like it was so sad, that we wouldn't be able to finish it... we did. An amazing movie! I totally recommend seeing it. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for reading!

... Of the week.

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well.
How has your week been? Mine has been okay.
Guess what time it is? Another ... Of the week. Excited? I am!!

Book of the Week- Someone Like You- Sarah Dessen- Haley and her friend (Scarlett) have been friends for years. Scarlett was the popular, flamboyant one. Haley pretty much hid in Scarlett's shadow. We learn Scarlett's boyfriend has been killed in an accident. Soon Scarlett finds out something that could ruin her youth. Their friendship is tested. Can Haley help Scarlett? I would rate this book 3 out of 5.
Song of the Week- Black and Gold- Sam Sparro- I love this song so much!! To know that someone would want to remain at your side, forever, is the best part of this song. It's hard to find someone like that. I would rate this song 4.5 stars out of 5.
Movie of the Week- The King's Speech-Colin Firth- Whoa! Amazing movie! Really!! I totally agree with the awards they got at the Oscar's. This movie was inspiring, heartfelt, and hilarious. I totally recommend watching it! I would rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

... Of the week.

Hi Guys,
How are you? I am well. How's your week? Mine is going pretty okay.
Here are this week's picks-
Book of the Week- Fallen- Lauren Kate- Luce is forced to go to a reform school. There she meets an odd crowd, many who (like herself) didn't need reforming. Then Luce meets someone, someone who takes her breath away every time she sees him. Yet, he won't stop running away from her. When he's not running, he seems like a long-lost friend to her. Luce can't seem to figure out why he acts like this towards her. On the other hand, other guys are being very friendly towards her. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Song of the Week- The Man Who Can't Be Moved- The Script- I love this song so much! It makes me wish, at times, that there were a man who couldn't be moved out there for me. : )      I would rate this song 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Movie of the Week- 3:10 to Yuma- Russel Crowe- I saw this movie on one of my trips downstate, and have loved it ever since. Though, I think I have adored Russel Crowe in pretty much everything I have seen him in so far... : D                I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Hey Guys!
Guess what I saw this weekend? Pirates of the Caribbean! It was so awesome, that I actually saw it twice.... : )
Anyway, I totally recommend going to see it. Yes, they did drop the Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan story, but two other stories formed off of this movie. I don't want to ruin anything, so that is what I'll say for those who were disappointed that they would drop that part of the movie. I would rate this movie, probably a 4 out of 5.

Howling for Howl!

Hey Guys!
I recently watched the anime movie Howl's Moving Castle, and I thought it was really cool. It is the first anime movie I have I ever seen, and I am currently another.
The movie follows a hardworking girl named Sophie. When she is cursed, for 'mistreating' the Witch of the Waste,  she is turned into an old maid. Ashamed she flees to the mountains, only to find the Moving Castle of Howl Pendragon. She meets a fire demon named Calcifer, who offers to break her spell if she breaks his contract with the wizard. When she meets Howl, Sophie recognizes him from a little earlier (in the movie). She gets employed as Howl's housekeeper. Can she convince Howl to break her spell? I totally recommend watching and finding out. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Hope you enjoy!

Grab the Popcorn! It's Showtime!

Hi Guys!
On my recent post, I had discussed what a day would be like with my family. Today, I wish to give a review of some of the movies I have seen recently. Let's get started!

G.I. Joe- (2009-Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid)- This movie starts out with a decent adrenaline-filled beginning, yet as we get farther into the film it starts lack on many levels. The Special Effects were pretty bad, as was the acting throughout the film.Yet, there were some entertaining moments throughout the film. I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars.
The Karate Kid- (2010- Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan)- An amazing film about a young boy (Dre Parker) who moves from America to China. He is enrolled in a Chinese school, only to become the prime interest of it's bully. During a fight scene we meet Mr. Han, the maintenance man. Secretly Mr. Han is a master of Kung Fu, and so teaches Dre the art. Taking huge steps, Dre soon finds himself in a position of resolution. Watch the movie for hilarious scenes, and heart-wrenching moments. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
The Naked Guns- (1988- Leslie Nielson, Priscilla Presley)- Absolutely recommend seeing! This film is hilarious, and full of adventure. Follow Lt. Drebin as he uncovers a plot that puts the Queen Elizabeth II life in jeopardy! Full of slapstick comedy, romance, and brain-washed athletes, 'The Naked Guns is something you don't want to miss! I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars.
The Scorpion King 2- (2008- Michael Copon, Natalie Becker)- Follow Mathayas through his youth, when he journeys to the Underworld in an attempt to avenge a loved one. Can he complete his journey, battle the odds against a goddess, and defeat the man who took the lives of so many his loved ones? Watch the movie and find out. I would rate this movie 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Hope you enjoy! I know I did. I will give a review of the books I have read recently, on my next blog post.
Thanks for reading!
