My Weekend (Part 1)

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty awesome. In this post, I would like to give you guys a summary of all that had happened. My weekend will include the time spent from Friday morning, till Monday night.
We packed all of Thursday night, as it takes a lot of time for my family to pack. We didn't get to bed till closer to midnight. We all got up and out the door at 5:30am. My cousin Joshua Thomma, had passed away the Sunday prior. So his funeral was Friday morning at 11am. We had full intentions of attending. We arrived at the funeral home at about 10:30am. The funeral was short, but one of the saddest I have been to. Many people knew Josh, and his death was devastating to them. Even the minister knew Josh, which added a nice touch to his ceremony. When the minister himself knows the deceased, it adds a more personal touch to the ceremony.
It was over by noon. We went back to my grandparents house, to retrieve the little ones. We arrived at the dinner soon after 12:30pm. We visited with our relatives, which was very nice. I don't get to see my relatives very often, so I relish each moment that I might get with them.

Driver's Ed Is Over!!

Hey Guys!
How are you? I am well. How has your week been? Mine has been pretty good.
Guess what I passed? Driver's Ed!! I scored 20 out of 20 on the last test they gave me.
All I have to do now to get my driver's license now is just complete my driving hours. Twenty more hours, with eight of them being during night hours. Sound exciting? Well, I am willing do anything at this point to get my license. : )

Yesterday...

Hey Guys,
How are you? I am doing pretty good. Yesterday, I posted to my Facebook wall that I was having a bad day. I immediately got a lot of supportive responses (thank you guys!!). I feel like I should explain a little bit more about why it was so bad...

Yesterday, I awoke pretty early. I had the intentions of having a really good day. Especially, in my Driver's Ed class. I wrote a blog post, got around for the day, ate my breakfast, and prepared to walk down for Driver's Ed. I was suppose to go down early, and meet my sister to grab the shared 'children's phone'. We never did meet up, even though I spent a lot of time (prior to class) looking for her. Then, I remembered that my mom wanted me to go and apologize to a girl. See, I was suppose to go and 'talk to her for a sec, (after class) because she had something really important to tell me'. I walked to the front door, and found her outside alone. I was getting really bad vibes about going out there. So, I turned around and went out the back door. When I got to class yesterday, I went over and apologized for not meeting her. She immediately proceeded to say "F*** You" to me. After she finished the first word, and had started the second, I turned abruptly on my heel and walked away. People continue to ask me if I think I made the right move. Personally, I would not have done anything different. If she said that to me for apologizing, then, what would she have said to me if I had met her? I would have to think it wouldn't have been any better. On my way home, I was furious. Nobody had ever said anything like that to me before. I managed to hit my head hard enough against a door, that it is all swollen up today. I accidentally rammed my foot into a rock of about the same size. Both injuries hurt today, and both were inflicted out of my anger. I am disappointed in myself for letting my anger do that to me. More than disappointed in that, I am disappointed that someone at that girl's level caused me to get all riled up. I learned the value of the lesson 'treat people the way you want to be treated'. I would not want to cause another girl to get as mad and upset as I was, because I said something like that to her.
Yesterday, was full of other little things, that eventually made it a really bad day. My hope is, is since I don't have Driver's Ed today, today will be a good day just to sit back and try to have a good day. My next and final Driver's Ed class is tomorrow. I plan to go in, and show no mercy as far as how pleasant I intend to be.
Thank you to all who said supportive things on my Facebook wall. To get up this morning, and read them was very uplifting to my degraded spirit from yesterday.
Thank you!!

Visiting with Relatives

Hey Guys!
How have you been? I've been doing alright. Let me tell you about my weekend. On Friday, my sister and I left for an awesome sleepover party at a friend's house. It was themed hobo town, and we watched British comedy. On Friday evening two couples arrived at my house. My grandparents, Buddy, and Rocco (the dogs). I found out when I got home, that they were actually camping at the state park (that is approx. 5 minutes or so away). When I had gotten cleaned up, they arrived (again) at our house. Yet, they had a couple more people to greet them. They wanted to hear all about our previous adventures. Then, there was much discussion about the upcoming concert. They wanted to know if we were nervous, or not yet at that point. Neither of us proved to be nervous. Not until after they left, and we had time to think.
Sunday morning came.We awoke, and began rushing to get around for the concert. We awoke late, so we were in a flurry for the majority of the morning. We said 'good-bye to our parents and ran down to the High School (public school), which is literally in a one block radius. When we got out, we'd been at the school for 6 1/2 hours. Setting up, practicing, performing, and cleaning up. It was a long day, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our family had really enjoyed it. On Monday, we strictly visited with the relatives, and did some school.
On Tuesday, my grandpa and I logged an hour and a half of driving. As I still need to log time, since I am at a Level 1 Driver's Permit. Next month, I take my final classes for Driver's Ed, and I will (then) get my Level 2 Driver's Permit. Then, we came home and picked up Elise and Matthew. We drove out to the state park and picked the dogs. Grandpa and Matthew dropped Elise, the dogs, and I off at the house and left for the driving range. Matthew wants to learn how to golf. When they got back, everybody (with the exception of my parents, William, and I) left to take the dogs for a walk. We ate dinner, and played some games.
Today, I am hopeful to have an awesome time. I don't know. My grandpa wants to take me driving on the freeway. : /
We'll see how that goes...
